Welcome to Little Minds Learning!
My name is Jo and I am the creator and owner of Little Minds Learning Ltd. I am a primary school teacher and SENCo with over twenty years experience. The concept behind Little Minds Learning was born whilst searching the internet for educational, fun activities for my now four year old son, Jacob.
It soon became apparent that although there were thousands of ideas to be found, the websites were difficult to navigate and constantly bombarding me with adverts. What I was looking for was one site, one place to return to time after time, somewhere that offered a collection of educational activities which would cover all elements of early years learning.
So Little Minds Learning was launched with a passion to create a website which offered parents a progressive package of learning activities for pre-school and Reception children. Our activities lay a solid foundation to prepare children for school as well as enriching the Reception curriculum.
The ethos of Little Minds Learning is for parent and child to spend quality time together through a series of creative activities which are designed to be practical and fun – the best proven way for young children to learn. No worksheets, no screens, just a chance to nurture the love of learning together.
Our collection of activities are advert-free, easy to navigate and cover all areas of Maths and Phonics. They are developed around the government’s early years curriculum, designed to be worked through in order, with supporting information included. All activities are easy to follow, practical, meaningful and fun. They are easily prepared using household items and are the perfect length of time for a child’s concentration span. Most importantly, every single activity has been tried and tested so we know that they really do work!
