• A selection of leaves
  • Glue
  • Glue spreader
  • Card
  • Googly eyes (or draw the eyes on
    yourself)

  • Collect a selection of leaves – different colours, shapes and sizes
  • Arrange the leaves on the card to make an animal shape (great for discussing ‘bigger’, ‘smaller’ ‘longer’, ‘shorter’ etc.) – move the leaves around and swap them to get the best result!
  • When happy with the design, glue the leaves on to the card
  • Add the eyes
  • Repeat to make more animals – or try a different idea (eg. a dinosaur, a person, etc.)
